“ Stopped in here today for a quick lunch and WOW!!! I had the sampler tray with the bbq beans and my son had the full rack of ribs with the beans and HOME MADE mac and cheese and we were both VERY pleased with our meal and the service. This is a cool old place with nostalgic toys everywhere that sent me right back to my childhood. Just a neat little place, reasonably priced and the food was quite good. If BBQ is what you crave, this IS the spot! To the guy that left a terrible review and just walked in and didn't even TRY the food..... YOU missed out! This place was a smoky old bar room for decades but when I was in it was CLEAN and did not look or smell like its past as a bar. To leave a nasty review like that without even trying the food was such a “Karen” move! Do not be swayed by reviews like that people! This place was GREAT! ”

“ First time visit. We had planned on eating at another location but their system was down so needed to pivot. Had driven past this location and being pretty hungry turned around. Turned out to be a good decision. After opening the menu, I saw that a lot of the items are homemade. Our server Toni recommended the brisket breakfast bowl. . Yummo. Pic does not do it justice. Home fries or tots with cheese, brisket, sauteed jalapenos, onions, sausage gravy and two eggs prepared the way you like. Yum! Yum! Yum!. The only criticism I have is that the meals were brought out at different times. We are already planning a trip back to try the barbecue sampler platter. ”
“ This is a great little restaurant. The owner was so welcoming and I felt immediately very comfortable and at ease. It’s very laid back and feels like being in your family’s kitchen. The food was rich, delicious home cooking. We went for breakfast and it was the very best kind of classic diner food - I’m from Jersey so I have high standards for that kind of thing and I was not disappointed. The servings were also very generous. There are homemade baked goods for sale at the counter, which I highly recommend. Overall a great experience! ”
